Great Bulleign Wood
<< Back
For the last few years, the Morghew Park Estate has been seeking a suitable site on which to create a new piece of traditional, species-rich native woodland which can be linked in to the Estate’s ancient woodlands using so-called wildlife corridors.
The Estate’s management has now decided that this piece of woodland will be planted, over the course of two or three years, at the south-eastern corner of the Estate. Planting will begin this year. As the woodland’s proposed name suggests, it will be located in the vicinity of the former Great Bulleign Farm, the acreage of which was absorbed into the Estate many years ago.
The approximate location of the new wood can be seen below.
The Estate will be pleased to receive any feedback on its proposal, by email, to greatbulleignwood@morghew.com
